Avojuice Skin Flavor Pack – Sweet Things Review, Photos, Swatches

Avojuice by OPI released this sweet little hand and body quencher pack for the holiday I assume but it’s still available in stores and online if you haven’t come across this set. These little cuties are perfect for carrying in your backpack, purse, stashed in your locker, sitting on your desk, on a nightstand, etc. Perfect for getting into the habit of moisturizing your hands daily. (As I am trying to do)

OPIpack

The “flavors” included are:

  • Mango
  • Jasmine
  • Coconut Melon
  • Cran & Berry
  • Vanilla Snowflake
  • Peppermint Shimmer

Mango is described as A tempting tropical smoothie. This scent smells so delicious!  Honestly if I could drink it I would.

Jasmine is described as Blooming jasmine with a hint of citrus and violet. The first thing I noticed with this scent is that it’s very light and not as sweet as the other fruity flavors in this pack. So it’s a good choice for those not so keen on strong fragrance.

Coconut Melon is described as The lushness of a tropical fruit blend. Island lovin’ in a bottle! The melon just stands out so well I can almost taste the juiciness of the fruit. I can easily say this one is my favorite! Ok, check this out, picture yourself with this lotion smothered on your arms, sitting under a beach umbrella, listening to the waves crash while sipping on a Mango Smoothie. Ah…

Cran & Berry is described as The irresistible zing of cranberry in a berry-rich mix. Don’t laugh but right after smelling this lotion I instantly thought about berry flavored gum. It just smells so good and sweet. Easily a quick favorite.

Vanilla Snowflake is one of the two that are not listed on the OPI website so I’m assuming they are not permanent and only here for the holiday season. I can see why..this smells of warm sugar cookies straight out of the oven! Yummy. I’ve never been one to like vanilla scented items but I couldn’t help but feel all warm and happy inside while rubbing this lotion on my arm.

Peppermint Shimmer is the other “flavor” not listed. Before you start wondering about the “Shimmer” in the name..yes it does have shimmer. Without thinking I slapped a glob on my forearm and while rubbing I noticed all the shimmer on my arm and hand. It really does have a nice minty scent and feeling to it. I couldn’t help but think about Mean Girls when Aaron smells Regina’s face. LOL! I would save this one for a night out only because of the shimmer. But hey, if shimmer is what your about, then you do you, booboo!

Each lotion has a nice thin watery gel consistency that absorbs quickly into the skin leaving it feeling cool fresh and oh so soft! This is a great set to try out new lotions being that they are only 1 fl. oz. each. Let me know if you try one out!

Estee Lauder Take It Away Total Makeup Remover Review, Photos, Swatches

Waterproof mascara? No problem. Normal, Dry, Oily type skin? No problem.

This little gem of a makeup remover has been one of my favorites for sometime now. It easily removes makeup without much effort.

This product has a nice watery light cream consistency with a citrus/cucumber scent. It’s also great for all skin types because it won’t dry out skin or leave a heavy oily residue.

I usually apply two pumps to a cotton pad and press it gently against my eyes for a few seconds then wipe away all my eye shadow  mascara, and (most) of my eyeliner. If I need a little more I just add it to a q-tip and run it along my lash line and that usually does the trick!

For my face I like using a cotton pad or just pump it into my hands and rub my face to loosen up foundations and powders then rinse off clean.

If you’re sensitive to smells I advise to go to a Estee Lauder counter and putting some on the back of your hand to give it a little sniff.

There is just one thing I need to add..if you get it into your eyes they do cloud up and sting a bit but if you can get over that little flaw this is a fantastic product to have in your arsenal of beauty products.

You can find this at all Estee Lauder counters and online for $25.00 6.7 o.z.
